The case deals highlights key aspects of ﬁnancial planning considered by Senior Managers at Wealth Management Divisions. It underlines issues which rise when preparing the ﬁnancial plan for Mid-net-worth-individuals and focuses on the basics ofﬁnancial planning. The ﬁnancial plans prepared by two diﬂerent relationship managers for a client raises vital issues on debt managementfor clients, assumptions of rates of return and the choice between debt and equity given the risk proﬁle. The case is based on best practices in ﬁnancial planning divisions oflndian banks.
